He never lent it out, not even to write down...

He never lent it out, not even to write down a fly lady phone number; it was strictly for the raps. Junya then started guestimating the amount of money he has spent since they left Connecticut. "Damn...that is about right." Junya said under his breath. The first thing Junya figured to do was to find out how much a ticket to New Haven would cost. He knew being in cabs all day in the city would run him well over his budget, and he did not have any other source of dollars. His clothes were bloody, so he could not sell them, he lost his cell phone, and his chain would not get him much money, considering he bought it in NYC in the first place. Junya was not good at begging, so standing outside with a hand out was not in his plans; besides, the man standing outside the diner had already beat him to it. Junya stood up from the stool and walked out into the parking lot of the diner. He saw a young black man walking to his car.

"Hey yo, yo holms...yo, can you tell me where the train station is?" Junya said from across the parking lot. The man looked back in Junya.s direction, then turned around to get in his car, then drove off. "Damn..." Junya said reluctantly. Junya then saw a heavy set black woman walking slowly to her car. She had a large black bag near her leg, dragging it along with her.

"Excuse me Miss, do you need a hand with that?" Junya asked politely. "Sure, here, take it if you think you can manage!" The woman said delightedly. don't meet to many nice, handsome gentlemen around these parts, you must not be from around here, huh?" The woman said while looking at Junya in his eyes. The woman reached into her pocket and pulled out a $20.00 dollar bill and extended her hand out to Junya. "Here, for your troubles boo...this is all I can afford right now, and..." "I do not intend on taking your money Miss, I just saw a woman who needed a hand, and I extended my strong ones!" Junya said flirtatiously. Junya looked at the woman and noticed that she had on a shimmering diamond ring. She also had a tattoo on her arm of a heart with a name inscribed in cursive. The bag she was dragging was heavy, but it was not too heavy for Junya to lift into the trunk of the woman.s car.

"But I insist love...here, there is a lot where that came from, trust! She said with a snicker on her face. You alright? Why you all cut up on your pretty face boy? You need a place to stay?" The woman took her hand and touched Junya on his face, then followed her hand down to Junya.s chest. "Actually, I need to get to the train station. I am from Connecticut, and yo boy is lost right now. Do you know how to get there from here?" Junya spoke to the woman. Junya knew that the woman was nice enough to give him a drive down there, but he did not know what expectations the woman had of him. Junya stared at the woman.s cleavage from her tight fitting blouse. "Of course I know where it is...are you in a rush?" The woman said with a smile.

"Somewhat maam. See, I need to get to New Haven and me..." "New Haven? Oh, that ain.t but a hop, skip, and a thump from here. I have the day off today, I have to make a couple stops, and I can take you, if you really want me to. It is no sweat off my...well, let.s just say that I will not have any problems taking care of you boy..." The woman said with a seductive breath at the end of her sentence. The woman then pressed the power lock on her car and opened her door. She placed her purse on the back seat, and looked back at Junya.

"Are you gonna stand there, or are you gonna come for a ride?" "Yes, I will come. Let me just use the phone one more time right quick." "Okay..." The woman said with a confused look on her face. Junya ran back inside of the diner and plopped coins down the slot of the pay phone to call Khevasiah back. The phone rung and rung, but no one picked up. Junya hung up the phone before the 5th ring, so that the answering machine did not pick up. Junya was running out of coins, and there was no phone number where Junya could be reached if he left her a message. Junya rushed outside of the diner and looked for the woman, but she was gone.
