Junya did get hyped in these rap music industry situations

Junya did get hyped in these rap music industry situations. He never understood why Khevasiah did not try to support his music aspirations. The many meetings she had gone to, and as many famous industry personalities she has ties with, not once did she ever mention Junya.s music. Khevasiah has a copy of Junya.s "The Product. demo CD in her SUV, but it stays under her seat. Khevasiah always kept a cool head in her business endeavors, no matter who she made dealings with. She could legitimately go to this gathering in New York, not speak to anyone, and still enjoy herself just as much as she would buying out the bar with some rich nigga she done hob-knobbed with during the course of the night. During the quiet ride, Junya was rehearsing some of his memorized verses in his head, as if he were going to perform them. He then put the blunt out in the rear ashtray, and turned on the Playstation 2 that was hooked up to the TV.s in the headrests of the back seat. He quickly turned it off, seeing that it was annoying Khevasiah in the front seat.

After about 2 . hours on the main stretch of highway to New York City, Khevasiah got off the exit near Greenwich Village to stop at a local restaurateur to have some dinner. The place was an eat-in, so the two got out of the SUV and spoke for the first time since the silencing comments from Junya. "I heard this place is good.mmm! I got a tasting for some season calamari and steamed okra!" Khevasiah said. No matter how high Khevasiah got after smoking, she remained sexy; a lady at all times. Her face did not look greasy or worn down; she simply kept the kind of red eyes that one has when they have been crying hard. She pulled her hat a little bit lower over her eyes, and suggested to Junya that he do the same.

Junya held the door for Khevasiah as they walked into the lavish eatery. There were windows all around this dome shaped facility, where exotic plant life fulfilled the skylights. All of the tables were of glass, where each table consisted of two chairs, with the exception of the raised booths where it seemed only the wealthy were allowed to indulge. Junya looked down by his feet at the beige rug that spiraled into various shades of brown that coincided with the fine wood frames around the elaborate glasswork. The two were seated in the center of the restaurant next to an elderly white couple. The older man was spoon feeding his wife desert; they seemed to be having a wonderful time.

Khevasiah ordered quickly. Junya ordered a fish dish similar to what Khevasiah had ordered. Champagne came to the table, along with meatless pasta, salad, and a large basket of wheat bread. During dinner, Khevasiah could not help to stare at Junya. Every time Junya looked up from his food, Khevasiah was staring cold at him, and would not blink nor move her head out of his direction; something was on her mind. "What? Can.t a man eat without his girl all up in his mouth?" "Did you hear me say anything to you.you sitting right across from me, stuffing your face, but a half hour ago you couldn.t say shit to me right?" "Khevasiah," Junya said in a soft voice, "Why you always do this shit? One minute you want to get all sarcastic; shitting on me, then you want to be all lovey-dovey like nothing went on!" "All I said was that you need to stop flashing your ass all the time whenever I take you somewhere. You never know to just relax and let things happen more natural. You think somebody always gonna want people like you up in they face when they just trying to have a good time? You make yourself look bad like that.

I bet you any money if you just try to focus on being yourself, and stop trying to impress these industry fuckers, you will be where you want, trust! Think about how many people they got up in they face during the day, and now they get off of work, it.s just that; off of work! Yea, you could be networking and shit, but you don.t know how to do that shit! You be looking for the stars, when you need to just talk to real people.the people that make the stars, seen! I can.t do all the talking for you!" "Look who.s talking bout flashing ass!" Junya said under his breath. "Excuse me nigga.n.nah, don.t try and change the fucking topic.cause of what, my clothes! C.mon baby, this shit is important!" Khevasiah ranted back at Junya. "So this is why you flipped on me, because you think I am too hyped?" "Why else do you think nobody came at you about your CD? I think you rap really good baby, but the way you going about your rapping career is all wrong. You don.t have a real gimmick, and you sound like.well, like. "Like what?" Junya said angrily. At this point Junya stopped eating his entree. He had a cold stare in his eyes, anticipating something from Khevasiah that would anger him."You sound like you just some rapper from Connecticut, which is not much. And you know why, cause you act like a rapper from Connecticut.
