One of the connections had a direct link with a famous fashion designer, and he promised Khevasiah he would get her clothing seen by someone who could do something for her. She went along with it, only to find out that the guy had set her up. Khevasiah was robbed and beaten up pretty badly, only to be left with her panties and a broken nose. When she escaped, she came back to her place, and things changed drastically. There were already speculations as to where Khevasiah earned her bread. She was running back to her neighborhood naked and bloody; passer-byers stayed to their judgment calls. The people that she called friends laughed in disbelief when they saw Khevasiah running passed them. No one stopped to help her, and she passed out in front of her landlord.s building where she needed to get her keys.
Khevasiah realized that people only liked her for what she could give
them, and not for her. Being alone was always tough for her, now she knew it
for sure. She packed up and decided to enroll in Yale University. She did not
have much school background, not even a high school diploma. Through a
connection she made while at the financial corporation, she got some dummied
documents and paid for a full year.s tuition up front. She took some acting
classes and a few business law courses. She got through a year and a half at Yale
with fairly decent grades, only to drop out that following summer to go into
business for herself. Khevasiah lived in an elaborate brownstone right near the
downtown area of New Haven. She started to dress less provocative; ponytail of
her long Indian straight hair, and a baseball cap that covered her flawless light
skinned face. She had thickness in all the right places, especially in those C cup
breasts and her round ass. Sweatpants and expensive designer jeans kept her
wardrobe complete.
She had her mind set on pursuing her fashion designer
dreams. She invested in some downtown office space and bought various fabrics
and machinery. She would go to some of the happy hour spots on Fridays and
go to some of the more thugged out clubs on Saturday nights to see the different
styles of clothing. She wanted to see what was happening out in Connecticut,
and unfortunately, she agreed that there was not much to say about Connecticut
fashion sense. During her weekend excursions, Khevasiah kept running into this
same group of girls. They seemed harmless, yet Khevasiah was always cautious
of meeting new people. They eventually met up a few more times and grew a
liking towards each other. Now Khevasiah had a new crew going to some of the
nicer clubs in the New Haven and surrounding New York areas.
One night, Junya and some of his New Haven peoples were out at the
club. After hours, they all headed to the diner where almost everyone went after
the clubs let out. On that same night, Khevasiah and her crew were at the diner.
Khevasiah and one of her new friends rode into the lot on motorcycles. They
walked into the diner and demanded all eyes. They had on tight bodysuits that
accentuated their physique to the maximum. They sat down at a table right next
to Junya and his homeboys. With all the attention on these girls, it was only
right that Junya talk to them, having the close table advantage. Before Junya was
heard, two guys went over and sat at the table. The men made a scene being
disrespectful to the women, and Khevasiah pulled a gun on them after pouring
hot chocolate on him. The women walked out, and Junya and his crew soon
followed in pursuit.
They exchanged numbers, not knowing how completely
opposite of each other they were. By talking Khevasiah felt the long awaited
need to have someone who made her feel worthwhile. Junya was overwhelmed
at the fact that such a beautiful woman with tons of money would be interested
in him. Khevasiah sees something in Junya, and she wants to bring it out in him,
but she knows that he needs to realize it for himself. Khevasiah had no one to
tell her what to do and what not to do, even when she was with her mother.
Junya has only known Connecticut, only known certain aspects on things, and
had yet to be exposed to the real world as she and many others see it.
This story talks about their times together, and how they manage to get
through betrayal, triumph, life threatening situations, trust, and dealing with
Junya.s emotional struggles and Khevasiah.s knotted ties with the street life.
