As Gwen and Allen talked with Gigolo, Cupid walked into the room
with Tanya, CJ and Charles.
"What up everybody?" He said while removing three folding chairs
from the corner for Tanya, CJ and himself to sit in.
"What up?" Allen and Walter responded.
"Yo, I'd like for you to meet my girl." Allen said as he touched Gwen's
shoulder.
"Baby this is my boy Cupid."
"Nice to meet you, she said as she shook his extended hand.
"I've heard a lot of good things about you Ms. Lady. You got a hold of
a good man. I wish the two of you luck."
"Thank you. I like to think I got a good man too."
"I'd like for both of you to meet my lady," Cupid said as he stepped
back to reveal Tanya to Gwen and Allen.
"Tanya, CJ!" Gwen yelled.
"Gwen!" Tanya and CJ yelled.
"Oh my GOD, I had no Idea that you knew Allen." Gwen said as they
hugged.
"I don't know him," she responded, "I am meeting him for the first
time today."
"This is way too funny." CJ said as the three friends hugged.
"Hey," Walter said, "I know this is a reunion for the three of you, and
as much as I love my boys and their ladies, y'all gon' have to take that
shit into another room."
"Girl, he just talk loud, he ain't nothin' but a cream puff," Tanya said
as she kissed Walter on the forehead.
"OK, y'all can stay," he smiled.
"No, we are going to go into the other room," Tanya said as she
recruited the ladies. "You guys enjoy the game."
The girls grabbed their plates and headed for the kitchen for a little
girl talk. The fellas sat silently for a moment before Cupid asked Allen a
question.
"So how long have you known they knew each other?"
"I didn't know they knew each other. This is as new to me as it is to
you and to them."
"That's a trip." Gigolo said.
"What's that?" Allen asked.
"How small the world is," he replied.
"Yeah you got a point there." Cupid responded.
"Well, let me be the first to say this to you Jones." Walter said. "She
is a fine mutha fucka."
