As they stood talking, Xavia walked into the lobby and behind her
walked a slender brown skinned young lady.
"What's going on, I got your message?" She said to Traci.
"Onna got jumped by those girls from Peanuts."
"The same girls that I told her to stay away from?"
"Yeah."
"I told her that those girls were jealous of her and ole boy. I knew this
was going to happen. All she had to do was do what I told her to do and
this wouldn't have happened."
Xavia said as she looked at her friend
and pointed to a seat for her to sit in.
"Still giving orders I see." Tanya said.
"Yeah, still giving orders. The only difference in the orders that I gave
you is I care more about this tongue than I did yours." She said,
pointing at her friend.
"And still a bitch too."
"And you still a hatin hoe." Xavia said before Traci interrupted.
"Listen to the two of you. This has nothing to do with your reunion, it
has to do with our friend's life and if that isn't worth anything to you
then you both need to go."
Tanya and Xavia apologized to Traci and told her that they would put
their differences aside and focus on the matter at hand. Traci shared the
information that she had with Xavia and told her that they were not able
to see her at this time.
"I guess at this point all we can do is wait for the doctors to come
back with more news. I am going to get something to eat. Can I get any
of you something?"
"No," Tanya answered, "but I'll come with you."
"Xavia," Traci asked again, "can I get you or your friend anything?"
"No, we are ok."
"By the way my name is Traci," she interjected, "and this is Tanya."
"Nice to meet you both," Xavia's friend spoke, "my name is Merrideth."
"Nice to meet you as well Merrideth," both girls said as they walked
away.
While they stood in the cafeteria line, Tanya began to ask Traci about
Onna's altercation.
"So who were these girls that Onna got into it with?" Tanya asked.
