Gwen looked on as Allen pulled deviled eggs and tossed salad out of
the picnic basket and sat them in front of the two of them.
"We can begin with this." Allen said as he handed Gwen a set of
flatware wrapped in a cloth napkin.
"Thank you baby, this is so sweet of you."
"Thank you. Being that this is our first lunch date, I thought I would
do something that I was sure you had never done before."
"Well you have definitely accomplished that. Is this you all the time?"
"Is what me?" Allen asked as he ate one of the four deviled eggs on
his plate.
"This attentive, thoughtful, handsome man. Is this always you?"
"I hope so because if I don't pay attention to your needs someone else
will and that would not be a good thing for me."
"Yes, you have a point." Gwen said as she began to eat her salad. "So
what's for lunch?"
"Spaghetti," Allen said as he removed it from the picnic basket and
placed a portion of it on his and Gwen's plates. "This is one of my
specialties, I hope you like it."
"If it is anything like the dinner you fixed for me I am sure I will like
it." Gwen said as she dug into the meal.
Gwen placed the first taste of the spaghetti into her mouth and closed
her eyes as the flavorful taste made her taste buds tingle.
"Oh my GOD," she began, "this is so good."
"Thank you," Allen said humbly.
"We are going to get along fine if you keep cooking like this."
"Oh, so you only want me for my cooking?" Allen laughed.
"Well I have yet to experience the rest that you have to offer."
Allen looked at Gwen as she lowered her head and smiled lightly. He
thought to move closer to her and kiss her but didn't want to be the one
to make the first move so instead he told her that when she was ready to
experience all that he had available to offer to let him know. She
responded by showing the million-dollar smile that made her face shine
as bright as Venus on a clear night. She finished the rest of the
spaghetti then reached for Allen's hand and began to stroke it softly and
slowly.
She lifted it to her face and began to kiss it as she closed her
eyes and imagined Allen's hands gracing her body. The feeling of the
thought made Gwen's body warm and that warmth produced action.
Gwen cleared the area in front of she and Allen and sat on his lap with
her legs straddling his body. She kissed his neck as he did the same
until their lips met. They kissed passionately until Gwen broke the
embrace with words.
"Allen, sitting here kissing you makes me want you so very badly. But
wanting you right now I know is my body talking and I can't give in to
that. I want to want you in every aspect and for you to want me the
same. In my life, I have only been intimate with one man and that was
because I thought we were going to be married. I would have liked for it
to have been him that I spent my life with, but I have to accept the fact
that it will not be with him and move on. I think I said all of that to say
that I really like you and I want to love you and you love me. Listen to
me," Gwen continued, "I have known you all of two weeks and already I
am talking about love as if I am a schoolgirl in love for the first time."
"Is that so wrong?" Allen asked. "I mean, isn't that the purpose GOD
wanted us to live for and the reason that he died for. If so, then what is
so wrong about it? Is it the time in which it takes you to love someone
that you question?"
"Well, shouldn't you know someone before you love them?"
