Jes believed that any time she went out with a man, the man was going to pay and if he didn't, he would never see her again. Again, Gwen would try to give Jes some advice. Gwen told her that maybe she should try a new approach, since she continues to get the same results with her old ways. Jes told her that if a man couldn't pay for dinner, then how could he meet her needs. Many times they have had that conversation and Gwen was hoping that they were not going to have that same conversation now. Again Jes called to let Gwen know she was home.
"I hear you girl!" Gwen yelled, "I'll be out in a minute."
Gwen finished her bath and placed her robe on to go talk to Jes about
her day. As Gwen approached the sofa were Jes sat, she could see a
smile on Jes' face that she had never seen before. But before Gwen
could ask why she had the smile on her face, Jes detonated with the
news of her new friend.
"Oh Gwen, his name is Marvin Edgewater and he is drop dead
gorgeous," she said as she began to stutter. "He has mu-mu muscles,
cur-curly curly hair, green eyes and big hands n' feet and you know what
they say about men with big hands n' feet, they got big."
"I don't want to hear it." Gwen said as she cut Jes off in mid sentence.
"Girl you don't ever want to hear it."
"You're right," Gwen said. "Why would I ever want to hear you talk
about the size of some man's penis?"
Jes jumped up, stood in front of Gwen, and began coaching her on
how to say penis.
"See Gwen, that's where ya wrong, it's not a penis, it's a dick, and it's
not a vagina, it's a pussy, now you say it with me. Penis - dick- vagina -
pussy. Come on, say it with me."
As Jes rehearsed her chant, she began to stomp as though she was in
a step show in college. Gwen began to laugh at Jes and decide to let the
wild streak come out of her. To the surprise of Jes, Gwen jumped up
and began to stomp and recite the chant with her.
The two of them fell
out from laughing so hard. As they sat on he floor, Gwen in her robe,
Jes in her work clothes, Gwen asked Jes about her new friend. She
asked her besides the physical attributes that he had, how was he as a
person. Again, Jes got defensive at the question.
"Gwen don't start with that true love bullshit again, OK honey? I just
met the man today, let me get to know him, then I can discuss true love
with you."
