A-Form Documentation for a staff member's fi le showing a positive incident (Nobody I know has ever received one.).
(The) Angel of Death The UA coordinator calling you regarding the collection of an additional urine specimen.
B-Form Documentation for a staff member's fi le showing a negative incident.
bleedat Do you believe that?
Blue A reference used to talk about custody staff. Custody staff commonly wear baby-blue shirts and navy-blue slacks as part of their uniform.
Blue 61 An emergency grievance needing the shift supervisor's immediate attention.
Blue-Flu A rash of "sick-call" absences due to a holiday, special event, or a home football game.
Boat People New inmates at the Diagnostic and Evaluation Center who have to sleep on plastic cots on the fl oor due to overcrowding.
Bubble Control station in which an offi cer controls the electronic doors to inmate cells.
Bug Out To act crazy.
Bunk On room or bay restriction.
Bunkee An inmate who shares a set of bunk beds with another inmate.
Candy Cart A non-existent apparatus that FNGs are sent to fi nd when there is time to burn.
CCC-L Community Correctional Center-Lincoln.
CCC-O Community Correctional Center-Omaha.
Canteen A store where inmates purchase supplies and/or necessities.
Celly Cell-mate.
Central Monitoring A system of checks and balances to monitor inmates and their enemies, to limit their access to each other.
Check-in Ask for protective custody.
Check Six Watch your back. A military term used, assuming you are facing twelve o'clock.
Chimo Child Molester.
Code-Brown A large ripe poo.
Con Noun or verb - Generally used in reference to a convict, but also used to describe the game, as in confi dence game. Inmates build your confi dence in them or your confi dence in your collective abilities.
Contraband Items that inmates are not allowed to possess.
Cops Prison staff.
DEC The D and E, DEC, or D & E, is the Diagnostic and Evaluation Center.
Dip To eavesdrop.
Doors The time frame when you can enter or exit your housing unit (typically fi ve minutes before and after the hour).
Dope Anything inmates consume to alter their thinking. Anything that helps a shooter acquire a target.
Dry-Snitching The worst kind. Right out in the open, no hiding it. See snitch.
Duck Weak inmate that may be subject to pressuring. Also called a Fish.
EAP Employee Assistance Program.
Early Lines Going to eat a meal before the majority of the unit because of a work schedule or a medical necessity.
FNG Fuckin' New Guy - used in all perspectives known to human-kind.
Fall Partner A person that committed a crime with you.
Fifi A homemade vagina to masturbate in.
Final A meeting with the Parole Board determines the day that is intended to be the day the inmate departs the institution on parole, provided there is no strong opposition, and all programming needs have been met.
Fish See Duck.
Five-O The Police.
Floating Relief Whore A post in which you fi ll in for people who are observing their weekend or a vacation.
Fuck Trophies Children.
G Gangster, as in "The G", or "What up G?"
Gallery A wing of a housing unit where the inmates live.
Gate-Fee A payment made to inmates upon their discharge for survival basics. Inmates contribute 5% of their income to this account.
Good game A friendly pat on the butt.
Good lookin' out A statement you make when someone does something in advance anticipating a need to cover for you, or provide something for you.
Green Incident Report (IR).
Grievance A form inmates use to complain about staff.
Hole A more secure place for inmates who are to be segregated from the rest of the inmate population.
Homogenized The act of a man raping another man.
Hooch Home-made alcohol.
House Inmate terminology for the housing unit in which they live.
Indigent An inmate with no income sources.
Indigent candy Anti-acids.
