. Certificate Program on Trafficking and Gender
(Dominican Republic):
CIPROM and FLACSO offer a
certificate program for public officials and NGOs on issue
of Gender, Migration and Trafficking in the Dominican
Republic. A similar program has been incorporated into
diplomatic corps curricula.
. La Cuerda (Guatemala):
A network of women
journalists. Members, acting individually and through the
network's publications, have published sensitive reports
on trafficking and child sexual exploitation.
. Association of Relatives of Missing Migrants (Progreso,
Honduras):
Hosts a weekly radio broadcast, "Without
Borders", on issues of migration including trafficking and
other migration risks.
. Campaign against Child Sexual Exploitation (El
Salvador):
The Office of the Human Rights Ombudsman
launched a campaign against the commercial sexual
exploitation of children. A symbolic pin of an orange
triangle was distributed to be worn in a public showing of
protest against child sexual exploitation.
